Learn how to assemble and install the YBell Vertical Rack for tidy, space-efficient storage of your YBell Arc or Neo series weights. Step-by-step instructions included.

Quick answer

Assemble the YBell Vertical Rack by bolting the heavy-duty steel frame together, then position it on a level floor to hold your YBell Arc or Neo series weights from 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) up to 12 kg (26 lbs).

Why the Vertical Rack works for home gyms

The YBell Vertical Rack is designed to keep your weights organized without taking up much floor space. Its assembled footprint is 21 inches long by 19 inches deep by 59 inches high, so it fits against a wall or in a corner of most home workout areas.

The rack holds any YBell Arc or Neo Series from 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) up to 12 kg (26 lbs), making it a one-stop storage solution if you own multiple sizes. Because YBells are sold separately, you can add more as your training progresses.

Setup considerations before you start

The rack ships in multiple boxes, so check that all parts are present before beginning assembly. You will need basic tools such as a socket wrench and a level; these are not included.

Because the rack is 59 inches tall, ensure your ceiling is high enough to allow the rack to stand upright. Also, plan to place it on a flat, stable surface to prevent wobbling during use.

Setup steps

  1. Unpack and inventory all parts: Open all boxes and lay out the vertical rack components, hardware, and instructions. Compare against the parts list to confirm nothing is missing. Missing hardware is easier to address before you start assembling.
  2. Assemble the base frame: Bolt the base legs to the bottom crossbar using the supplied hardware. Tighten bolts finger-tight first, then fully tighten once the frame is square. Over-tightening before squaring can warp the frame.
  3. Attach the upright posts: Slide the vertical posts into the base brackets and secure them with the provided bolts. Use a level to check that each post is plumb before tightening fully. A misaligned post will cause YBells to sit unevenly.
  4. Install the weight supports: Attach the horizontal support arms at the desired height intervals. Space them to accommodate your YBell sizes—wider spacing for larger bells, narrower for smaller ones. Leave enough clearance between arms so YBell handles are easy to grab.
  5. Position the rack and load YBells: Move the assembled rack to its final location on a level floor. Place each YBell Arc or Neo onto a support arm, distributing weight evenly from bottom to top for stability. Load heavier YBells on lower arms to lower the center of gravity.
